Lancer 1500Y High-Density Top Insulation - 50-0178-SP

The Lancer Insulation Top 1500Y is the high-density thermal containment barrier designed to maintain internal cabinet temperatures and prevent external moisture condensation. It serves as a critical shield between the chilled water bath and the warm ambient kitchen air, maximizing the efficiency of the refrigeration deck.

Problem Solved: Prevents refrigeration loss and stops 'sweating' on the unit's exterior, which can damage countertops and lead to structural corrosion. Replaces old, water-logged insulation that has lost its R-value.

Symptoms of Failure: Excessive condensation on the machine exterior, refrigeration cycles running longer than intended, or find moisture dripping into the electronics from above.

Technician’s Note: Ensure the insulation is seated flush against the metal frame without air gaps. Air pockets trapped under the insulation will allow condensation to form behind the panel, which can eventually rot the bin liner from the outside in.Technical Specifications:
  • Manufacturer: Lancer
  • Application: Thermal Barrier / Condensation Control
  • Compatibility: Lancer 1500Y Series
  • Material: Closed-Cell High-Density Foam
